Y’all know reading is fundamental

This week’s questions:

If you know me, you know I am research queen. I will read every book under the sun to learn a new skill and stay on my A- game. Currently been reading…

Everything a Marketer Needs to Know About Film & Photography: The Marketer's Guide to Creative Production by Jillian Gibbs. I feel its important as a producer to be nimble upskill, and stay humble enough to learn from others.

This week, my goal is to finish the chapter on DELIVERY of the assets and see what gems I pick up.

This week’s answers:

A few things that I learned and have my wheels turning...
1. One of the best practices is to "plan for an integrated production to capture content for all media types and formats, produce more than one spot at a time.
2. Another thing I should keep in mind is the different tiers and levels of directors, photographers and editors. This will be driven by the budget."

Sooooo slightly different but this brings to mind for me...
As I gear up to produce this event for an agency/client I'll have to keep in mind how we capture content (videos, photos) at the event and how do we repurpose it post event? What are usage rights for talent? 🤔 It also makes me think about how I go about strategizing which photographers and videographers I reach out to? What's the criteria? 🤔
