Basic indesign helps me help designers
This week’s questions -
1. I'm thinking it's advantageous for me to have some understanding of indesign as a producer. It'll help me have some wherewithal as I collaborate with designers on pitch decks. Can I build a presentation in indesign with no design experience?
2. What are things I should consider as I look into fabrication vendors to build a stage for a panel discussion?

I can build a presentation in indesign with no design experience! It's still in approval with the client so can't show it here. A few skills I now have -
BUT YouTube university is so clutch! 😅
You can duplicate spreads once you have the page design.
Using the erase and brush tool
Adding the brand colors to swatches
Importing the brand fonts and being mindful which ones are for headers, body, caption text
It's important to package it up so all the images, links, make its way to whoever you are sending it to.
